The construction of a new Diagnostic and Treatment centre for Care UK Afrox Healthcare Limited is underway at the Barlborough Links site. The two storey building, approximately 4,159 sq m, will be fitted out with various consulting rooms, operating theatres, radiology and X-ray suites, ward areas and a small physio-gymnasium with associated plant rooms and ancillary facilities. The project which will cost in the region of £7.5 m is due for completion summer 2005. Bolsover Cruise Club is to extend its facilities by the construction of a two storey building of 1,287 sq m, comprising telephone sales area, administration area, part travel agency and other offices with ancillary stores and amenities all within one envelope. Construction is due to commence June 2004 and completion is set for Spring 05.
