Visitors Flock to Enjoy the Great Xscape

Xscape, Castleford, is Yorkshire’s most innovative attraction and the ultimate entertainment destination, offering a pioneering combination of 430,000 sq ft of extreme sports and leisure activities for all ages.

Visit England recently announced that Xscape is the most popular paid-for tourist attraction in the UK, confirming the destinations success.

Xscape is able to boast the country’s biggest real snow slope along with two rock-climbing walls, an aerial assault course, indoor skateboard park, Laserzone, bowling, multiplex cinema, 20 bars and restaurants and 10 urban retail outlets.

Xscape is continually introducing innovative and exciting new concepts, including explore, which promises adventure and excitement for families and children of all ages. With a soft play and party centre, it guarantees safe, secure and clean indoor adventure and fun. Xplore also includes Cosmic Golf, the UK’s first glow-in-the-dark mini golf course.

On the slope at SNO!zone, the new SNO!storm nights with live DJs have been a phenomenal success, and with more free-style sessions, including the monthly airbag session and the new ice slide, there is something for everyone.

SNO!zone’s managing director, Arnaud Palu, said: “We constantly aim to make new experiences and facilities available for our customers, and the events we hold prove that we are the country’s premier real snow slope.”

From mid-August, SNO!zone will also unveil its newly refurbished bar and café facilities, offering a cool and comfortable environment in which to chill out and watch the spectacular views of the slope.

Xscape continues to grow from strength to strength, proving that it has every reason to be Yorkshire’s favourite family entertainment destination.

PY Gerbeau, CEO of Xscape said: “Xscape has been a great success since opening nearly four years ago, but to ensure that it continues to be the best, we are constantly developing the experience. We are always adding unique new facilities so that the people of Yorkshire know they have an outstanding visitor attraction on their doorstep,
