To the west of St Albans adjacent to the existing M10, Waystone is associated with Countryside Properties in promoting a 250 acre mixed-use development on land owned by its parent company CP Holdings Ltd.
Whilst the site is presently in the greenbelt, the Government's need for extensive areas of residential development land means that the need cannot be met without change to the greenbelt zones. Waystone and Countryside Properties are promoting the site for inclusion in the Land Development Framework for St Albans District Council, a process which may take several years and will ultimately involve public consultation.
