The new Diagnostic & Treatment Centre is essentially a two storey building of approximately 4,159 sq m (44,750 sq ft gross internal area providing various consulting rooms, 3 no. operating theatres, radiology and X-ray suites, a pathology suite, ward areas, and a small physio-gymnasium with associated plant rooms and ancillary facilities. The floor to floor level is based on a height of 3.6 m.

The rooftop of a small single storey section of approximately 140 sq m for the ground floor stores and boiler, vacuum plant rooms etc. will also serve as a plant platform for externally located plant which will be visually screened with louvered cladding.

Construction of the building was completed July 2005.
