Waystone had proven capability to negotiate and operate
partnership arrangements for the reclamation and redevelopment of
all types of land both in public and private ownership.
Local authorities and public bodies can benefit from the expertise
and investment that Waystone can offer. This was evidenced in the
Kingsbury Link project, which was carried out in partnership with
North Warwickshire Borough Council:
"The success of this project depended on trust and confidence
between the partners in understanding and managing the risk involved.
We found Waystone very good to work with and believe the final
outcome to be a matter for pride for both them and the Council."

Director of Environmental Services
North Warwickshire Borough Council
The issue of trust is equally important when working with private
sector partners and Waystone has developed open book accounting
and financial models to suit different types of project.
In Derbyshire Waystone's planning and engineering team designed
the 300-acre mixed development regeneration scheme with the help
of Bolsover District Council and formed a partnership with the
Sitwell family. Here is what the family agent can tell you:
"For over 10 years I have represented the Sitwell family
in their dealings with Waystone over the 300 acre development site
at Barlborough, Derbyshire. During that time we have faced many
difficulties but have always worked together to find a fair and
proper solution that has served the common and individual interests
well."
Waystone is continually seeking new partnership opportunities
with owners of difficult or derelict land and can introduce investment
where this is needed.
In addition at Stainforth, by Junction 5 M18 motorway, Waystone is proposing a new Marina project.
In order to ascertain the views and opinions of the local people, Waystone held an open day to display a model of the proposals and to invite attendees to complete a detailed questionnaire utilising information now analysed to include in a proposed planning application likely to be submitted in 2007. |
