 The construction of a new Diagnostic and Treatment centre for Care UK Afrox Healthcare Limited is underway at the Barlborough Links site. The two storey building, approximately 4,159 sq m, will be fitted out with various consulting rooms, operating theatres, radiology and X-ray suites, ward areas and a small physio-gymnasium with associated plant rooms and ancillary facilities.
The project which will cost in the region of £7.5 m is due for completion summer 2005.
 Bolsover Cruise Club is to extend its facilities by the construction of a two storey building of 1,287 sq m, comprising telephone sales area, administration area, part travel agency and other offices with ancillary stores and amenities all within one envelope. Construction is due to commence June 2004 and completion is set for Spring ’05.
 Lynx Phase 2
Waystone is about to complete a further office and warehouse facility for Lynx Technology Limited. The project is scheduled for completion in summer 2004 and has an approximate value of £3m.
 Priority Sites
Waystone completed the construction of three speculative offices units and an industrial unit handing them over to Priority Sites in September 03. Already the industrial unit and one office unit have been sold and a further office unit is under offer.
 Gladman
At the end of 2003 Waystone completed a major earthmoving task to provide a 25 acre development plateau on which Gladman has now commenced construction of a 500,000sq ft warehouse.
In addition, on another 4 acre plot in the same development Gladman have already commenced construction of their Business Quarter office units which will be available for letting in summer 2004.
Coster Technology
Waystone has reached agreement with Coster Technology for the provision of a 5½ acre site on Lakeside Park at Barlborough Links.
Garden Park Investments and Waystone have applied for planning permission to develop 10 acres for a modern garden centre.
Moto
Waystone has also reached agreement with Moto to promote the development of 17 acres of land adjacent to J5 M18.
 Moebus
A two storey £1,045,000 Chinese restaurant has recently been completed at Glasshoughton along side Colorado way, the main spine road through the site on the approach to S4 roundabout. The building of 920 sq m which is due to seat 220 has yet to be fit out which will take approximately 20 weeks from completion.
 Marrtree Ltd
Construction has begun on 2 single storey industrial buildings for Marrtree Ltd extending to approximately 2,900 sq m in the heart of Blue Ridge Park facing Colorado way. The project value is around £1,442,000 and completion is due at the end of summer ’04.
Hotel
Construction has begun on the £4,950,000 Tulip Hotel at the Glasshoughton site on a high profile 1.7acre site opposite the Xscape project.
The construction is a five storey modular design creating 119 bedrooms and conference rooms at floor level and is due for completion Jan ‘05
 Metro station and footbridge
The footbridge is now complete and the station well underway due for completion in the Autumn ‘04 which will link both road and rail serving the interchange at Glasshoughton.
 B&Q
In joint venture with Wilson Bowden work has now begun to provide a retail facility at Glasshoughton adjacent to J32 of the Motorway. Completion is expected towards the end of the year.
