In conjunction with Hall Construction Services of Darlington, Waystone has been chosen by West Lothian Council to redevelop a contaminated former colliery site at Riddochhill near Bathgate.

It is expected that the Joint Venture will commence the clean up of the 40Ha site, off J4 of the M8, during Spring 07.

Riddochhill Bing already has detailed planning consent for a total of six 72,000sq metres storage and distribution units and a further 16,000sq metres of smaller scale business general industrial and distribution units.

The estimated cost of the re-generation of the site is £8-10m and a further £40m will be required for the development.
